An integrated steel company reneged on several supplies of iron ore from an Indian iron ore supplier. The steel company originally claimed that the reason they refused delivery was because of problems with iron ore quality. Ferrousity analysis of sampling and samples identified that the iron ore was in specification and further investigations revealed that unrelated production problems at the steel plant had led to lower demand. Ferrousity gave expert witness at a London tribunal and the compensation was awarded to the iron ore supplier.
